Day 1
Lecture with Clinical Application
Periodontal assessment and management of perio cases, using non-surgical treatment modalities.
Case Based Presentations by Course Faculty
This session covers 3 to 5 case presentations, showcasing the non-surgical management of advanced periodontal conditions through techniques like scaling, root planing, and antimicrobial therapy.
Independent Patient Work (under course faculty supervision)
Independently perform non-surgical periodontal treatment for patient with deep periodontal pockets and perform local drug delivery in indicated cases - 2 Cases
Day 2
Lecture with Clinical Application
This session focuses on surgical techniques for treating advanced periodontal conditions, including flap surgery, bone grafting, and guided tissue regeneration, with the goal of restoring periodontal health and promoting tissue regeneration.
Case Based Presentations by Course Faculty
This session covers 3 to 5 case presentations, showcasing the surgical management of advanced periodontal conditions through techniques like flap surgery, bone grafts, gingival surgeries etc.
Lecture with Clinical Application followed by Pre-Clinical Exercise
This session covers in detail the use of soft tissue lasers in periodontal treatment, focusing on working principals, operating mechanisms, indications and contra indications, healing of laser treated tissues, etc.
Day 3
Demonstration on Patient followed by Assistance of Cases by Course Participant
Perform LASER assisted bio-stimulation in 2 independent cases.
Pre-Clinical Exercise
Practice suturing so that you can give sutures effectively in all periodontal cases. This exercise enables you to practice well and achieve good clinical outcomes in periodontal surgery cases requiring suturing.
Day 4
Demonstration on Patient with Step by Step Explanation Chair Side
This session includes a detailed, step-by-step explanation of the gingivectomy/gingivoplasty procedures, allowing participants to observe and understand the techniques.
Assistance by Course Participant
Enhance your exposure by assisting on a surgical periodontal case - Under Scalpel/Electrocautery/LASER.
Day 5
Independent Patient Work (under course faculty supervision)
Course participants will independently perform 2 cases of gingivectomy/gingivoplasty on patients, with guidance and supervision from the course faculty.
Day 6
Demonstration on Patient with Step by Step Explanation Chair Side
This session includes a detailed, step-by-step explanation of flap surgery procedure, allowing participants to observe and understand the techniques.

Day 7

Course participants will independently perform 1 case of flap surgery on patients, with guidance and supervision from the course faculty.

Course participants will independently perform 1 case of flap surgery with bone graft & GTR on patients, with guidance and supervision from the course faculty.
Note: On completion of surgical work, the course participant will do follow up visits and periodontal maintenance charts.

Yes, our advanced clinical periodontics course with step by step approach is designed to provide you with the practical knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to perform the covered procedures confidently and independently on patients.
We ensure that you get sufficient patient work and we also provide after course support – if there is a particular procedure where you require more practice, then cases are additionally provided to you accordingly.
The center is a separate department at ITS Dental College, Greater Noida, which has a strong standing of 20+ years in Dental Education & Training. More than 30 camps are organized in nearby villages on a monthly basis and our buses ply daily from camp locations to bring patients to the center. This ensures a very high daily OPD and so we are able to provide ample patients to our candidates.
All our instructors are experienced MDS Faculty with 5+ years of Clinical Experience.
We follow a step by step approach. The faculty will first take didactic sessions to explain the clinical concepts, followed by hands on pre-clinical exercises and demonstrations, after which patients are allotted for assistance and independent patient work.
You only have to carry doctor's coat/scrubs. All equipment, instruments, material are provided by the center.
Yes, we offer continued mentorship and guidance after course completion. Our faculty will help you with the queries that you may have during your clinical practice.
