Course Schedule
Day 1
Lecture with Clinical Application
Principles of crown preparation- preservation of tooth structure, resistance and retention form, structural durability, marginal integrity. Types of finish lines and types of burs used during crown preparation.
Pre-Clinical Exercise (Demonstration by Faculty)
Faculty explains the step by step procedure for preparation of all ceramic & porcelain fused to metal (PFM) crowns
Day 2
Lecture with Clinical Application
Different types of RPD, which RPD is given in which type of case, designing, taking primary/final impressions: which impression materials to use, recording jaw relation, try in & denture delivery.
Pre-Clinical Exercise (Practice by Candidate)
The candidate practices preparation for all ceramic & porcelain fused to metal (PFM) crowns.
(The same has to be approved by faculty before patient allotment)
Day 3
Lecture with Clinical Application
Conventional denture: taking primary/final impressions: which impression materials to use, recording jaw relation, try in & denture delivery. Denture Repair, Relining & Rebasing.
Demonstration on Patient
Crown preparation & Impression taking using different impression materials.
Day 4 Onwards
Independent Patient Work (under course faculty supervision)
Fixed Partial Dentures (FPD) - 3 cases
Removable Partial Dentures (RPD) - 2 cases
Complete Denture (CD) - 1 case

Yes, our clinical prosthodontics course with step by step approach is designed to provide you with the practical knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to perform the covered procedures confidently and independently on patients.
We ensure that you get sufficient patient work and we also provide after course support – if there is a particular procedure where you require more practice, then cases can be provided to you accordingly.
The center is a separate department at ITS Dental College, Greater Noida, which has a strong standing of 20+ years in Dental Education & Training. More than 30 camps are organized in nearby villages on a monthly basis and our buses ply daily from camp locations to bring patients to the center. This ensures a very high daily OPD and so we are able to provide ample patients to our candidates.
All our instructors are experienced MDS Faculty with 5+ years of Clinical Experience.
We follow a step by step approach. The faculty will first take didactic sessions to explain the clinical concepts, followed by hands on pre-clinical exercises and demonstrations, after which patients are allotted for assistance and independent patient work.
You have to carry an airotar and doctor's coat/scrubs. All equipment, instruments, material are provided by the center.
Yes, we offer continued mentorship and guidance after course completion. Our faculty will help you with the queries that you may have during your clinical practice.
