Course Schedule
Day 1
Lecture with Clinical Application
Anatomy of the skull, Trigeminal Nerve – Ophthalmic Nerve, Anatomy of the Maxilla (faculty also demonstrates the topic on skull)
Maxillary Nerve & Maxillary LA Techniques (faculty also demonstrates the topic on skull)
Day 2
Candidate shows the flowchart prepared for course of trigeminal nerve, with focus on maxillary nerve & notes prepared for maxillary LA techniques – the same are discussed with faculty & doubts/queries are answered
Anatomy of the Mandible, Mandibular Nerve & Mandibular LA Techniques (faculty also demonstrates the topic on mandible)
Day 3
Candidate shows the flowchart prepared for course of mandibular nerve & notes prepared for mandibular LA techniques – the same are discussed with faculty & doubts/queries are answered
Principles, Techniques, Patient Positioning, Anesthesia, Indications, Contraindications, Post-Operative Care, Complications – Prevention & Management
- Demonstration of Exodontia Instruments
- Suturing demonstration followed by practice by candidate
Day 4 Onwards
Extraction cases are allotted (after the faculty ensures that the candidate has gained the required conceptual understanding of LA techniques & exodontia)
Day 8
Lecture with Clinical Application
Indications, Contraindications, Surgical Steps in different tooth conditions, Post - operative Instructions & Follow up - including medications, Post - operative Complications- Prevention & Management
Assessment, Clinical & Radiographic Evaluation, Understanding factors contributing to risk, Classification Systems, Indications & Contraindications for removal, Benefits vs Risks of prophylactic removal, Pre-operative Instructions & Consent, Surgical Steps, Post - operative Instructions & Follow up - including medications, Post - operative Complications- Prevention & Management
Day 9 Onwards
Surgical extractions/Impactions cases are allotted (after the faculty ensures that the candidate can perform non-surgical extractions & has gained the required conceptual understanding of surgical extractions, impactions & suturing)

Yes, our Oral Surgery course with step by step approach is designed to provide you with the practical knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to perform the covered procedures confidently and independently on patients.
We ensure that you get sufficient patient work and we also provide after course support – if there is a particular procedure where you require more practice, then cases are additionally provided to you accordingly.
The center is a separate department at ITS Dental College, Greater Noida, which has a strong standing of 20+ years in Dental Education & Training. More than 30 camps are organized in nearby villages on a monthly basis and our buses ply daily from camp locations to bring patients to the center. This ensures a very high daily OPD and so we are able to provide ample patients to our candidates.
All our instructors are experienced MDS Faculty with 5+ years of Clinical Experience.
We follow a step by step approach. The faculty will first take didactic sessions to explain the clinical concepts, followed by assistance and independent patient work.
You only have to carry doctor's coat/scrubs. All equipment, instruments, material are provided by the center.
